UMW Service Projects
Clothing Give Away: Once a year Wesleyan Chapel reaches out to the community by giving away clothing that is donated from church members, families and friends. We also provide a free lunch.
Holiday Families: For Thanksgiving and Christmas Chapel sponsors five to seven families providing food during both holidays in addition to gifts for Christmas. Follow-up is made with families throughout the year.
Operation Christmas Child: Wesleyan Chapel participates each year in the Franklin Graham Samaritan Purse mission to fill shoeboxes with age related items to be sent to children around the world.

Wesleyan Chapel’s UMW invite the community to participate in their key mission projects.

Grace Place: The second Tuesday of every month, Wesleyan Chapel, along with other local churches, provides a meal to approximately 80 clients. They are also provide bagged groceries and pastries to take home. The photo is of some of the kitchen crew serving at Grace Place and the Shelter.
Edgewood Shelter: Wesleyan Chapel provides a hot lunch and dessert on the third Thursday of every month to approximately 15 to 20 clients (mostly homeless) at New Hope UM Church.
Blankets for Children: Ladies of the church make fleece blankets for the Children’s Ward at Upper Chesapeake Hospital.
